Shawn Lovins, 44, of Manchester, KY, passed away Friday, September 29th, at the Greg & Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard, KY. Shawn was born in Lexington, KY on February 15, 1979, a son of Debbie Parker McCoy and the late Beve Henson.
Shawn is survived by his mother, Debbie Parker McCoy and husband Bryant of Hamilton, OH; and his children, Blake Lovins and Cheyenne Wade, both of Louisville.
He is also survived by his brothers and sisters: Micah Lovins of Manchester, Bradley Lovins of Hamilton, OH, Tim Lovins of Hamilton, OH, Stephen Thompson of Cincinnati, OH, Jeanice Henson of Cincinnati, OH, and Tammy Rice of Cincinnati, OH; and by his aunts: Jo Jo Blair, who stood by him all these years and who loved him so much, and Leah Collins.
In addition to his father, Shawn was preceded in death by his brothers: Kenneth Ray Henson and Orlando Henson; his grandparents: Clara Sibert, Glenn Dale Parker, and Beatrice and Daugh Henson; and his great-grandparents, Curtis Arthur and Ruth Hacker.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations for funeral expenses can be made to Britton Funeral Home.
Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, October 3rd at Britton Funeral Home, with Scotty Sumner and Brian Bond officiating. Burial will follow at the Ed Penner Gregory Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Tuesday, October 3rd at Britton Funeral Home.
