Clinton Wayne “Boondock” Buttery, age 67 departed this life on Wednesday, September 20, 2023 at his home. He was born on Friday, July 27, 1956 in London, Kentucky to Dan and Ora Greer Buttery. He was a member of the Pine Grove Church of Christ.
He leaves to mourn his passing his sister: Betty Fields, his brother: Denver Buttery, his special friend: Casper Dees, 10 nieces and nephews, a host of great nieces and great nephews and a host of great great nieces and great great nephews, other family and friends as well as his special caretakers: TT Copeland, Shanda Copeland, Sherry Copeland, Kay Gonzoles and Bluegrass Care Navigators.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Dan and Ora Buttery, his grandparents: Estill and Martha Robinson Greer and Lloyd and Lucy Depew Buttery and his brothers: Harvey J. Buttery, Danny Royce Buttery and Kenneth Ray Buttery.
Funeral Services for Clinton Wayne Buttery will be conducted on Friday, September 22, 2023 at 8 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Jeremy Bowling and Brent Baker will be presiding.
The family will receive friends and loved ones on Friday evening from 6 PM until the funeral hour of 8 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
The family will go in procession to the Greer Cemetery on Robinson Creek on Saturday at 1 PM from the Rominger Funeral Home to lay Clinton Wayne “Boondock” Buttery to rest.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Rominger Funeral Home.
