Mrs. Carolyn Sue Mills, age 76 went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 17, 2023 at the AdventHealth of Manchester. She was born on Monday, February 24, 1947 in Manchester to Homer and Faye Congleton Hobbs.
She worked for 27 years at the Clay County Health Department, 10 years for the United States Forestry Service and was a devoted member of the Horse Creek Baptist Church.
She leaves to mourn her passing her beloved husband: Johnny Mills, her loving son Jamie Mills and his wife Angie and her precious grandson: Lucas Mills. She is also survived by her aunt Sue Jones and her husband Harold, her uncle Larry Congleton and his wife Cheryl and a host of loved ones, family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Homer and Faye Hobbs.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the Gideons International.
Funeral Services for Carolyn Sue Mills will be conducted on Thursday, September 21, 2023 at 2:00 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Scotty Sumner and Gary Gregory will be presiding. She will be laid to rest in the Manchester Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends and loved ones on Thursday after 12:00 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Rominger Funeral Home.
