Jerry Lee Henson, 49, of Manchester, Ky, passed away Thursday, September 7th at the AdventHealth Manchester Hospital. Jerry was born in Pineville, Ky, on August 20th, 1974, a son of the late Denver and Elizabeth Gibson Henson.
He is survived by his wife, Michele Smith Henson of Manchester; by his three sons and two daughters: Joseph Henson (Geena) of Mt. Airy, North Carolina, Jerry Jack Henson (Marissa) of Clayton, Georgia, Alex Henson (Lydia) of Millers Creek, North Carolina, Amber Henson and Brooke Smallwood both of Manchester.
He is also survived by seven living brothers and sisters: Wilma Henson, Elmer Gibson, Vada Wagers, Sharon Smith, Larry Henson, Don Henson, and Melinda Mills. As well as the following grandchildren: Mason Cope, Lucas Cope, Easton Murphy, Briella Murphy, Kainen Henson, and Everleigh Henson.
In addition to his parents, Jerry is preceded in death by his sister, Selena Shepherd.
Services for Jerry will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, September 11th at Britton Funeral at home with Dudley Lynch and Travis Dezarn officiating. Burial will follow in the Speed Smith Cemetery on Goose Rock.
Visitation for Jerry will be held at 6:00 PM on Sunday, September 10th at Britton Funeral Home.
