Beve Gilbert, 80, of Oneida, KY, passed away Thursday, August 31st, at the Landmark of Laurel Creek Nursing Home. Beve was born in Bar Creek, KY on December 13, 1942, a son of the late Emery and Hazel Wilson Gilbert.
Beve is survived by the following brothers and sisters: Jessie Gilbert of Manchester, Lee Gilbert of Indianapolis, IN, Larry Gilbert of West Harrison, IN, Bobby Gilbert of Redbird, Alma Jean Reynolds of West Harrison, IN.
He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Beve was preceded in death by the following brothers and sisters: Wiiliam C. Gilbert, Mae Jones, Steve Gilbert, James Gilbert, Marie Gilbert, and Beth Gilbert.
Services will be held at 12:00 PM on Monday, September 4th at Britton Funeral Home, with John Pugh, Robert Napier and Jerry McKinley Holland officiating. Burial will follow at the Gilbert Cemetery in Oneida.
Visitation will be held at 6:00 PM on Sunday, September 3rd at Britton Funeral Home.
