Jewell Hacker, 79, of Manchester, KY, passed away Sunday, August 26th, 2023. Jewell was born in Manchester, KY on August 26, 1944, a daughter of the late Creed and Bonnie Smith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Hacker.
Jewell is survived by her children: Calvin Britton Hacker and Jerry Ray Hacker, both of Manchester.
She is also survived by her grandchildren: Trenton Hacker and Kaylen Raquel Hacker, both of Manchester; and by the following brothers and sisters: Hurbet Eugene Smith, Alice Ann Murphy, both of Greensburg, IN, Gaylon Wayne Smith, of Indianapolis, IN, and Katheryn Sue Nolan, Ethel Collins, Richard Bryan Smith, Clyde David Smith, Shonda Kyle Rice, all of Manchester; and by a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, Jewell was preceded in death by her sisters: Maggie Francis Swafford and Orpha Karen Carter.
Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, August 30th at Britton Funeral Home, with Larry Stubblefield, Andy Lewis and Paul Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow at the Smith Nolan Cemetery on Paces Creek.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Wednesday, August 30th at Britton Funeral Home.
