Narmus Burns, 73, of Big Creek, KY, passed away Wednesday, August 23rd, at his home. Narmus was born in Oneida, KY on November 16, 1949, a son of the late Shelby and Mary Francis Davidson Burns.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Burns.
Narmus is survived by his brother-in-law, Charles Parks of Bethel, OH; and by his close family friend and caretaker, Carolyn Wagers of Big Creek.
He is also survived by the following nieces and nephews: Randall Parks and wife Melanie, Vicky Hicks, Pam Patrick, Gary Smith and wife Cora, Larry Smith and wife Susan, and Theresa Goodman.
In addition to his wife and parents, Narmus was preceded in death by his sisters: Lonzie Smith and husband Harold, and Sarah Parks.
Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Sunday, August 27th at the Martin Cemetery in Oneida, KY, with Jerry Holland and Jerry McKinley Holland officiating.
