Cecil Henson, 77, of Manchester, KY, passed away Wednesday, August 9th, at the AdventHealth Manchester Hospital. Cecil was born in Manchester, KY on March 30, 1946, a son of the late William and Sarah France Henson.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Hubbard Henson.
Cecil is survived by his children: Calvin Henson and girlfriend Tina Cruse of London, Sudie Mills and husband Sim, Jr. of Manchester, Mitchell Henson and wife Jennie of Jackson County, and Gregory Henson and wife Melissa of Manchester.
He is also survived by the following brothers and sisters: Harold Henson of Manchester, Danny Henson of Manchester, Terry Henson and wife Vicky of Manchester, Calvin Henson and wife Wanda of Louisville, James Henson of Louisville, Helen Thompson of Michigan, Sally Hubbard and husband Willard of Manchester, and Alma Jean Henson of London; by his grandchildren: Angel Tuttle and husband Richard, Sheena Jewell, Susan Chambers and husband Justin, Kevin Henson, Courtney Mink, and Brandy Sizemore; and his great-grandchildren: Kaylee Chambers, Kaleb Chambers, Keegan Tuttle, Shiann Jewell, Katelynn Cameron, Jacoby Tuttle, Wyatt Mink, and Jacoby Hensley.
In addition to his wife and parents, Cecil was preceded in death by the following brother and sisters: Vernon, China, Carolyn, Vertamae, and Kathy.
Services will be held at 4:00 PM on Sunday, August 13th at Britton Funeral Home, with Garnett Tuttle officiating. Burial will follow at the Henson Cemetery on Belles Fork Rd.
Visitation will be held from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Sunday, August 13th at Britton Funeral Home.
