Robert Pearl Combs, 72, of Manchester, KY, passed away Wednesday, August 9th, at the St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington, KY. Robert was born in Oneida, KY on October 8, 1950, a son of the late Robert Vincent "R.V." and Wilma Lyttle Combs.
Robert is survived by his wife, Thelma Grigsby Combs of Manchester; and by his children: Robert Vincent Combs and wife Sonja of Manchester, David Thompson of London, Liz Grigsby of London, and Suzanne Hawkins and husband Jason of Houston, TX.
He is also survived his brother and sisters: James Anthony Combs of Manchester, Mozella White and husband Jasper of Richmond, and Diane Combs of Manchester; by 12 grandchildren, and a host of great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his son, Jamie Combs.
Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, August 19th at Britton Funeral Home, with Jessie Kemp officiating. Burial will follow at the Manchester Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Saturday, August 19th at Britton Funeral Home.
