Earl Ricky Smith, 59, of Manchester, KY, passed away Wednesday, March 29th, at the St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington, KY. Rick was born in Manchester, KY on December 17, 1963, a son of the late John Frank and Thelma Couch Smith.
He is survived by his wife, Charlene Smith; and his daughters Ashley Henson and husband Billy Joe, and Pamela Collins and husband Warren, all of Manchester.
Rick is also survived by his brothers and sisters: J D Smith, Bill Smith, Melvin Smith and wife Wanda, Donnie Smith, Ivory Campbell, Darlene Smith, Anna Collins, Evelyn Brock and husband Bill, Haley Brock and husband Terry, and Robbie Henson and husband Don; by his grandchildren: Jaiden Begley, Addison Begley, Mackenzie Collins, and Briar Collins; and by a very special friend, Charles Collins.
In addition to his parents, Rick was preceded in death by the following siblings: Robert Bob Smith, Thern Smith, Ema Jean Smith, and Sylvia Brumley.
Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, April 3rd at Britton Funeral Home, with Arthur Bowling and Paul Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow at the Manchester Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held at 6:00 PM on Sunday, April 2nd at Britton Funeral Home.
