Shelley Cotton, 72, of Manchester, KY, passed away Wednesday, January 4th, at the St. Joseph Hospital in London, KY. Shelley was born in Hyden, KY on July 23, 1950, a daughter of the late Millie and Columbus Roark.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Domie Cotton.
Shelley is survived by her children: Domie Jr. Cotton and wife Kimberly Manchester, Nicholas Cotton of Jackson County, Columbus Eugene Cotton of Manchester, Ernest Wayne Cotton of Manchester, and Jennifer Cotton of Jackson County.
She is also survived by her grandchildren: Donna Brewster, Ricky Brewster, Dakota Brewster, Johnathon Brewster, Katlyn Cotton, Zoey Cotton, Audrey Cotton, Haley Cotton, and Samuel Cotton; one great-grandchild; and by her brothers and sisters: Virgil Roark of Knox County, Alfred Roark of Manchester, Eric Roark of Manchester, Kent Roark of Knox County, Louise Hubbard of Manchester, Jean Roark of London, Bonnie Lou Rogers of North Carolina, Lauren Hubbard of Manchester, and Shirley Faye Roark of Manchester.
In addition to her husband and parents, Shelley was preceded in death by her grandchild, Johnathon Brewster, and her sister, Rachel Caldwell.
Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, January 8th at Britton Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Cotton Cemetery on Cotton Bend Road.
Visitation will be held at 6:00 PM on Saturday, January 7th at Britton Funeral Home.
