Arnold Burns, age 79 of Dayton went to be with the Lord on January 31, 2022. He was born August 20, 1942 in Oneida, Kentucky son of the late Mitchell and Mabel Burns.
Arnold was a devoted spouse, loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He was an avid outdoors man. He enjoyed working on cars, Blue Grass music, learning how to play a Banjo, and spending time with his family. Arnold will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his parents, Arnold was preceded in death by his sisters, Frances Geiger and Joyce Music; and brother, Willard Burns.
Arnold is survived by his son, Ricky Burns; grandson, Kelly Patrick Burns; devoted friend, Joyce; sisters, Mildred, Linda, Connie Sue (Kenny) Baker; brothers, Dale Burns, Mitchell Van Burns, Wallace Burns, and Randall Burns; mother of his son, Justine Burns; as well as numerous other family members and friends.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 24, 2022 from 6-8 P.M. at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek, Ohio 45432).
Graveside Services for Arnold Burns will be conducted on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at the Fairview Cemetery in the Oneida Community.
Local arrangements are being entrusted to the Rominger Funeral Home.
