Other than his parents, James was also preceded in death by his loving wife, Rebecca Carol Hamilton; daughter, Karla Sue Hamilton; son, James Wendell Hamilton; siblings, Rollie Hamilton & Maxine, Ona Cornett & Dover, Matt Hamilton & Juanita, Dan Hamilton & Eula, Earl Hamilton & Statia, Robert Jr. Hamilton & Emma, Leon Hamilton & Joyce. James was a retired foreman from Falcon Coal.
James Russell Hamilton leaves the following relatives to cherish his memory: son, Jeffrey Allen Hamilton & Kathy Lynn; two brothers, Lonnie Hamilton & Marsha, Justin Hamilton & Adaline; sister, Alphia Caudill & Forrester; two grandchildren, Natasha Duncan & Shane, Meghan Kiser & Codie; three great-grandchildren, Emery, Rayja, and Spartan Duncan. A host of other relatives and friends survive.
