Betty Miniard, 82, of Owenton, KY, passed away Thursday, August 5th. Betty was born in Pigeon Roost, KY on March 4, 1939, a daughter of the late Lee and Lillie Smith Hatfield.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Shade David Miniard.
Betty is survived by her children: Rebecca Baez of Owenton, KY, Judy Fresch of Ohio, David Miniard of Ohio, and Jeff Miniard of Kentucky.
She is also survived by three sisters: Ethel Roberts of Kentucky, Lona Spade of Ohio, Daisy Gibbs of Ohio; two brothers: Paul Hatfield of Ohio, and J. C. Hatfield of Ohio; and by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, Betty was preceded in death by two children: Joann Miniard and Jack Miniard, and by several brothers and sisters.
Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, August 11th at Britton Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Roots Branch Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Wednesday, August 11th at Britton Funeral Home.
