Mr. Elmer Wagers, age 76 of Goose Rock departed this life on Thursday, August 5, 2021 at his home. He was born on Friday, December 8, 1944 in Manchester, Kentucky to Samuel and Vesta Eversole Wagers. He was a coal miner and a member of the Mud Lick Church of the Brethren.
He leaves to mourn his passing his wife: Roselean Smallwood Wagers, his daughters: Dena Woods and her husband Jerry, Denise Smith and Amy Woods and her husband Bart as well as his grandchildren: Amanda Davidson and husband Cody, Matthew Woods and wife Whitney and Alex Woods and his great grandchildren: Kara Davidson, Kelsey Woods, Michael Woods and John Woods. Also surviving are his brothers: Clifford Wagers and Sam Jr. Wagers and his sister: Joyce Roark and husband Clinton.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Samuel and Vesta Wagers and his son-in-law: Randy Smith.
Funeral Services for Mr. Elmer Wagers will be conducted on Sunday, August 8, 2021 at 2 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Dave Balmer and Dwayne Yost will be presiding. He will be laid to rest in the Elmer Wagers Cemetery in the Goose Rock Community.
The family will receive friends and loved ones on Saturday after 6 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
