Oakley Smith, 81, of Manchester, KY, passed away Thursday, July 1st, at the St. Joseph Hospital in London, KY. Oakley was born in Bimble, KY on October 21, 1939, a son of the late Vernon M. and Goldie Mills Smith.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Bessie Ann Depew Smith.
Oakley is survived by his son, Jeffery Smith; and his brothers and sister: Raymond Smith and wife Kathy of London, David Smith and wife Marcella of Manchester, and Judy Walker of London.
In addition to his wife and parents, Oakley was preceded in death by his brother, Tilmon Smith, and his sister, Blonda Sue Burns.
Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, July 6th at the Howard Cemetery in Goose Rock, KY, with David Smith officiating.
