Daisy Smith, 82, of London, KY, passed away Friday, July 2nd, at her home. Daisy was born in Clay County, KY on July 30, 1938, a daughter of the late Beve and Dora Mae Henson Smith.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Grant Smith.
Daisy is survived by her daughter, Jenny Jones and husband Lonnie of Pittsburg, KY, and her son, Walker Smith and wife Brenda of Manchester, KY.
She is also survived by her sister, Reva Marion of Manchester, KY, and by 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, Daisy was preceded in death by her son, James Franklin Smith, and the following brothers and sisters: B.P. Smith, Henry Smith, Betty Lou Smith, Annie Marion, Mary D. Smith, Roberta Smith, and Lucy Carr.
Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, July 6th at Britton Funeral Home, with James Hodge and Louis Sizemore officiating. Burial will follow at the Smith Cemetery #1 on Chop Bottom.
Visitation will be held at 6:00 PM on Monday, July 5th at Britton Funeral Home.
