Rondil Hensley, 75, of Booneville, KY, passed away Wednesday, December 30th, at the ContinueCARE Hospital in Corbin. Rondil was born in Owsley County, KY on July 30, 1945, a son of the late Jim and Audrey Ledford Hensley.
He is survived by his daughter, Brenda Muncy of Sextons Creek; his grandchildren: Rebecca (Christopher) Jordan of Burning Springs, and Heather (Vincent) Rogers of Jackson County; and his great-grandchildren: Isabella Jordan, Persells Jordan, and Haley Bocska.
Rondil is also survived by his sister, Bernetta Hensley of Owsley County, and his brother, James Elbert (Iva Sue) Hensley of Owsley County.
In addition to his parents, Rondil was preceded in death by his sons, James Richard Hensley and Timothy Orvis Hensley; and his brother and sister, Stevie "Duck" Hensley and Bernice Gabbard.
In lieu of flowers, donations for funeral expenses can be made to Britton Funeral Home.
Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, January 6th at Britton Funeral Home in Manchester, KY, with Frank Cunigan officiating. Burial will follow in the Bleve Metcalf Cemetery on Sextons Creek.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Wednesday, January 6th at Britton Funeral Home in Manchester, KY.
