Lowell Dean Cornett was born February 27, 1939 in Fogertown, Kentucky, the son of the late Walter and Halie Martin Cornett. He was united in marriage to Alice Fluckiger Cornett who preceded him in death. Lowell was a farmer and construction worker for the State Road Department, a member of Calvary Baptist Church, and a veteran of the United States Army.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was also preceded in death by two brothers, G.W. Cornett and Charles Cornett, and one brother-in-law Joel Yaden.
He is survived by his children Rick Cornett and wife Loretta of London, and Linda Craft and husband Timothy of Richmond, Kentucky; siblings Don Cornett and wife Veda, Joann Humfleet and husband Deverle, and Lily Yaden all of London; three grandchildren Rachelle Craft and Jared Craft of Richmond, and Taylor Moore and husband Kory of Waco, Texas; one great-grandchild Karson Moore; plus a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing.
Lowell Dean Cornett departed this life Friday, December 4, 2020 being 81 years, 9 months, and 7 days of age.
Private funeral services for Lowell Dean Cornett will be conducted by Bowling Funeral Home.
