Helen Irene Cooper Packer was born on June 12, 1934, in Harlan County, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Sam and Betsy Russell Cooper.
She is survived by her husband, Ronald Wayne Packer of London, two children, Libby DeAngelo and Guy Wesley Stone, both of London, three sisters, Margaret Short of Red Bird, Evelyn Wilder of Benham and Doris Brock of London, three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, plus a host of other friends and relatives to mourn her passing.
She retired from Westinghouse Electric Corporation in Baltimore, Maryland, where she worked making airplane parts. She was also a member of Carmichael Community Church.
Helen Irene Cooper Packer departed this life at her home on Monday, November 23, 2020, being 86 years, 5 months and 11 days of age.
A private funeral service for Helen Irene Cooper Packer will be conducted at 1 PM Wednesday at Carmichael Community Church with Jeff Lewis officiating. Burial will follow at A.R. Dyche Memorial Park in London.
Bowling Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
