William James Hubbard, 56, of Asher, Kentucky was born June 14, 1964 in Flint, MI to the union of Thelma Chappell Hubbard and the late Carlo Hubbard. William departed this walk of life on September 03, 2020 at the Mary Breckinridge A.R.H. William was a former factory worker and custodian. His greatest joy came from gardening and collecting phones.
In addition to his father, William was preceded in death by two brothers, Jimmy Dean and Lollie Hubbard, one sister, Mary Helen Hubbard Mosley.
William leaves behind his beloved wife, Christine Hubbard of Asher, KY, loving mother, Thelma Chappell Hubbard of Asher, KY, a son, Carlo William Hubbard (Whitney Gibson) of Bear Branch, KY, step-children, Christopher Hensley, Donna Smallwood (Waldo), Becky Roberts and Kristen Roark (Brian Estep).
Other survivors include, two brothers, Jessie Lee Hubbard of Asher, KY, Pearl Hubbard (Joan Brock) of Asher, KY, two sisters, Thelma Jean Napier (Gary) of Stinnett, KY and Lucy Mae Franks of Asher, KY; his cherished nephews and nieces, Aaron Hubbard, Ben Hubbard, Richard Franks, Joshua Napier, Breanna Hubbard, Natasha Howard, Crystal Franks, Angel and Hubbard. 10 step grandchildren, 3 great-step grandchildren, and a host of great nieces and nephews also survive his passing.
Funeral will be held at 1 P.M. – Tuesday at the Lower Middle Fork Pentecostal Church of God at Asher with Ralph Brown and Tommy Hubbard officiating. Interment will follow in the Bowen’s Creek Cemetery at Essie, KY. The family will receive friends after 6 P.M. – Monday evening at the church.
Arrangements are being handled carefully under the direction of Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home.
