Henry Clayton Smith was born July 06, 1957 in Hyden, Kentucky to the union of the late Arnold and Polly Pennington Smith. He had been a life-long resident of Leslie County and by occuption, he was a former employee of the Leslie Co. Telephone Co. Henry enjoyed four-wheeler riding and being outdoors. Henry departed this life on Sunday, April 26, 2020 at the Hazard A.R.H.. He was 62 years old.
In addition to his parents, Henry was preceded in death by two sisters, Virginia Lee Napier and Anna Lee Beatty.
Henry leaves behind two brothers, Hughes "Mac" Smith & wife, Evelyn of Morgantown, IN and Doug Smith of Dayton, OH; one sister, Gladys Couch of Dayton, OH; four half-sisters, Elaine, Becky, Betty Ann and Wanda. A very special niece, Lois Salyers of Hyden, KY.
A private graveside service will be held for Henry Clayton Smith. Interment will take place at the Smith Cemetery at Stinnett, KY.
Arrangements are being handled carefully under the direction of Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home.
