Carole Hillard Schenkenfelder was born on November 27, 1960 in Laurel County, Kentucky. She is the daughter of the late Byron Hillard and Laura Dale Hays Hillard. She was united in marriage to Joseph L. Schenkenfelder who survives of London, Kentucky.
She is also survived by two children, Reece Schenkenfelder and wife Elizabeth of Lexington, Kentucky; and Haley Mills and husband Jamie of Mt. Washington, Kentucky; four siblings, Tish Hillard of London; Ernest Hillard and wife Rita of Berea, Kentucky; Susie Hillard of Lexington; and Margaret Zoellers and husband Charles of London; two grandchildren, Harrison and Rory Mills, an expected granddaughter, Sophia Schenkenfelder plus a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Carole graduated from Berea College with a bachelor’s degree in business. She was retired from Software Information Systems where she was a senior client service representative. She was also a member of The Creek Church in London, Kentucky.
Carole Hillard Schenkenfelder departed this life on Friday, March 6, 2020 being 59 years, 3 months and 9 days of age.
