Mr. Larry Ray Mills age 59 of Buckeye Branch, Flat Lick departed this life on Friday, February 28, 2020 in the Pineville Community Healthcare Center. He was the husband of Ella (Webster) Mills and the son of Harrison Mills, Jr. and Virgie Mills. He was born in Knox County, Kentucky on August 2, 1960. He believed in the Baptist faith and was a member of the Salem Baptist Church. He was a coal truck driver and in his spare time he enjoyed working on cars in his garage.
He is preceded in death by his father Harrison Mills, Jr.
Left behind to mourn his passing, his wife Ella Mills, his mother Virgie Mills both of Flat Lick, Kentucky, one son, Steven Mills of Keavy and a daughter Natasha Mills and husband Charles of Flat Lick, five grandchildren, Nick, Josh, Matt, Jacob and Madison Mills and one great grandchild, Aubrey Mills all of Flat Lick, two brothers, Shawn Mills and Markel Mills both of Flat Lick, three sisters, Linda Mills and husband Rev. Donnie Mills of Dewitt, Charlene Rice and husband Gary of Rockhold, and Geraldine Roach and husband Bob of Erlanger, Kentucky. He also leaves behind a host of many other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral services for Mr. Larry Ray Mills will be conducted in the Cobb-Hampton Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. A.Y. Mills & Rev. Bud Sizemore officiating. Pallbearers will be family and friends. He will be laid to rest in the Harrison Mills Cemetery. Cobb-Hampton Funeral Home will be in charge of all arrangements.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 2:00 p.m.
