Carson Eversole of Dryhill, Kentucky was born February 04, 1951 in Leslie County, Kentucky to the union of the late McGrew and Laura Rose Eversole. He had been a life-long resident of Leslie County and by occupation, Carson was a self-employed logger. He was united in marriage on June 25, 1971 to Audrey Harris. They were married for 43 years until her death in 2014. Carson was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He was an avid hunter, and especially enjoyed bear hunting. He liked to fish, listen to music, and always enjoyed a good cup of coffee. Above all enjoyed spending time with his family.
Carson departed this life on Friday, February 08, 2020 at the Pikeville Medical Center. He was 69 years old.
In addition to his parents, Carson was preceded in death by his loving and devoted wife, Audrey Harris Eversole; one son, Joshua Andrew Eversole; two brothers, Eddie and Bill Eversole; two sisters-in-law, Shirley and Joyce Eversole.
Carson leaves behind, one son, Carson Reed Eversole (Mary) of Liberty, IN; three daughters, Arlene Fouts (Darrell) of Hyden, KY, Patty Kistner (Donnie) of Hyden, KY, and Poshia Slusher (Nick) of Metamora, IN; five brothers, Bert Eversole (Jessica) of Hyden, KY, Dean Eversole (Sherry) of Hyden, KY, Roscoe Eversole (Cathy) of Buckhorn, KY, Jerry Eversole of Metamora, IN, and Terry Eversole (Becky) of Hyden, KY; three sisters, Poshia Simpson of Hyden, KY, Reda Fugate of Hazard, KY, and Saralene Whitaker (Greg) of Hyden, KY; his beloved grandchildren, Jimmy Fouts, Angel Turner (Austin), Dylan Landy, Eric Partin (Pacia), Ashley Partin, Gypsey Slusher, Brian Slusher, Jessica Slusher, Katelin Eversole, Carson Z. Eversole and Michael Eversole; cherished great-grandchildren, Carson Allen Dean, Waylon Joseph Dwayne, Jayden, Emma, Madison, Jaylon, Rylee Kay, and Kinley Clay; two great-grandchildren to be, David Cole and Loralei Audrey Elaine; special cousin, John Reed England; special nephew, Jody Lee Bowling. A host of other family and friends also survive his passing.
Funeral: 1 p.m. - Wednesday - February 12, 2020 at Confluence Baptist Church withBobby Collins Neace officiating.
Entombment: Eversole Family Cemetery - Dryhill, Kentucky
Visitation: 5 p.m. - Tuesday evening at the church.
