Douglas Howard Hopkins, 70, of Manchester, KY, passed away Wednesday, February 5th, at the Hazard ARH Hospital.
Douglas was born in Coldiron, KY on May 22, 1949, a son of the late Opal Lee (Burchette) and John H. Hopkins.
Douglas is survived by his wife, Nancy (Becknell) Hopkins of Manchester; his daughter, Sarah Hopkins of Lexington; and his son, Daniel Hopkins of Manchester.
He also survived by his sister, Patricia Howard of Harlan; his brother, Paris Hopkins of Frankfort; and his half-brother, John Payne of Mississippi.
In addition to his parents, Douglas was preceded in death by his brother, John Mark Hopkins.
Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, February 9th at Britton Funeral Home in Manchester, KY, with Harry Ryan and Terry Strickler officiating. Burial will follow in the Manchester Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held at 6:00 PM on Saturday, February 8th at Britton Funeral Home in Manchester, KY.
