Mr. Arnold Brumley, age 93 departed this life on Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at the Landmark of Laurel Creek. He was born on Thursday, May 6, 1926 in Manchester, Kentucky to John and Creasie Smith Brumley. He was a retired coal miner and carpenter as well as a member of the Island Creek Missionary Baptist Church.
He leaves to mourn his passing his sons: Michael Brumley and his wife Linda and Walter Don Brumley and his wife Linda, his grandchildren: Alan Frost, Kim Burns, Angela Shell, Tonya Holland, Shane Brumley, Adam Brumley and Kari Beth Hacker. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters: Burchell Brumley, Onise Edwards, Luther Brumley, John C. Brumley, Lorene Shepherd and Arkus Brumley.
He is preceded in death by his parents: John and Creasie Brumley, his wife Mabel Brumley, his daughter: Karen Sue Frost, his great grandson: Hayden Brumley, his brothers: Gene Brumley, Jarvis Lee Brumley and Winford Brumley and his sisters: Mildred Jones, Sudie Hensley and Brenda Brumley.
A celebration of life for Mr. Arnold Brumley will be conducted on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at 12:00 PM at the Island Creek Missionary Baptist Church. Rev. George Grigsby, Rev. George Roberts and Rev. Jason Holland will be presiding. He will be laid to rest in the Manchester Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends and loved ones on Friday evening from 6:00 until 9:00 PM at the Island Creek Missionary Baptist Church.
