Ona Mae York was born on April 21, 1940 in Laurel County, Kentucky. She was the daughter of the late Arthur Andrew Floyd and Nellie Arthur Floyd. She was united in marriage to Fred York Jr. who preceded her in death.
She is survived by one son, Charles York and wife Shelia of Columbus, Ohio; three siblings, Winford Floyd and wife Barbara; Frances Baxster and husband Rich both of London; and LaVern Floyd and wife Faye of Alabama; two grandchildren, Jeffrey Bowman and Eric Clayton York; one great-grandchild, Madison Bowman; plus a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing. In addition to her parents and husband she is also preceded in death by a son, Steven F. York and four siblings, Lois Bunch, Lenore Durham, Lewis Floyd and Rondal Floyd.
Ona Mae was a housewife and a member of Hopewell Baptist Church in Corbin.
Ona Mae York departed this life on Sunday, January 12, 2020 being 79 years, 8 months and 22 days of age.
