Loretta Baker was born on August 21, 1942, in Harrison County, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Henry W. and Gladys Mae Fryman Prows. She was united in marriage to Harold G. Baker, who preceded her in death.
She is survived by two sons, Harold Ray Baker and wife, Lisa, and Todd Green Baker and wife, Rebecca, all of London, and one sister, Mary L. Burdine of Florence, Kentucky. She was blessed with five grandchildren, T. J., Josh and Justin Baker and Nicole Baker Maiden, and the late Travis Ray Baker and six great-grandchildren, plus a host of other friends and relatives to mourn her passing. In addition to her parents and husband, she is also preceded in death by one brother, Robert W. Prows.
Loretta formerly worked in quality control for TZA and was of the Baptist faith.
Loretta Baker departed this life at her home on Sunday, January 12, 2020, being 77 years, 4 months and 22 days of age.
Funeral services for Loretta Baker will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday in the Bowling Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the White Lily Cemetery in Pulaski County.
The family of Loretta Baker will receive friends at Bowling Funeral Home after 6:00 PM Friday.
