Arthur Smith, Jr., 75, of Manchester, KY, passed away Tuesday, January 7th, at the Advent Health Manchester Hospital.
Arthur was born in Manchester, KY on September 14, 1944, a son of the late Amanda (Mills) and Arthur Smith.
Arthur is survived by two daughters: Beulah Garrison, and husband Paul and Caroline Smith, both of Manchester; and by two sons: Arnold Smith and wife Margie Smith of London, and Ronald Smith and wife Eyvonne of Hyden.
He is also survived by five grandchildren: Misty Mathis, Darrell Goins, Jonathon Brandon Bailey, Brittany Bowling and Bradley Smith; seven great grandchildren: Austin North, Amber North, Addison Goins, Brady Bowling, Brooklynn Goins, Maleah Bowling and Racquel Mathis; one sister, Beulah Gray of Manchester; and five brothers: Mike Smith and wife Virginia of Manchester, Taft Smith of Manchester, Dennie Smith of Manchester, Stinson Smith and wife Brenda of London and Charles Smith and wife Dianna of London.
In addition to his parents, Arthur was preceded in death by his brother and sister, Marvin Smith and Cassie Gray.
Services will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, January 10th at Britton Funeral Home in Manchester, KY, with Ryan Smith and Andrew Fultz officiating. Burial will follow in the Smith Cemetery #1 on Chop Bottom.
Visitation will be held 6:00 PM on Thursday, January 9th at Britton Funeral Home in Manchester, KY.
