Mrs. Janet Carpenter, age 57, departed this life on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at her home. She was born on Thursday, August 2, 1962 in Hamilton, Ohio to Harolgene and Juanita Napier Smith.
She leaves to mourn her passing her husband: David Carpenter and her loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Harolgene and Juanita Smith, her grandparents: Theo and Edith Napier Smith and George W. and Viola E. Taggart Smith.
A celebration of life for Janet Carpenter will be conducted on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at 3:00 PM at the Garrard Pentecostal Church. Rev. Paul Stewart and Rev. Paul Mitchell will be presiding. She will be laid to rest in the Napier Cemetery in the Buzzard Community.
The family will receive friends and loved ones on Friday after 5:00 PM at the Garrard Pentecostal Church.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Rominger Funeral Home.
