Rufus Smith, age 64, of Manchester, passed away Sunday September 1st, 2019 at the Hazard ARH Hospital.
Rufus is survived by his wife Margie Hacker Smith, one son Joseph Smith, one daughter Brandy Smith and the following brothers and sisters: Oscar Smith, Cledith Smith, Sybil Smith, and Delores Smith Sester.
He is preceded in death by his parents Pittman Smith and Sarah Henson Smith, and two brothers Charles Smith and Albert Smith.
The funeral service for Rufus will be held 2:00 PM Thursday September 5th, 2019 at the Britton Funeral Home Chapel with Frank Peters officiating. Burial will follow in the Rufus Smith Cemetery at Burning Springs.
Visitation will be after 12:00 noon Thursday at the Britton Funeral Home Chapel.
