Naomi Gay, 85, of Oneida, KY, passed away Thursday, March 7th, at the Advent Health Manchester Hospital.
Naomi was born in Brutus, KY on February 6, 1934, a daughter of the late Elsie(Davidson) and Preston Burns. She was a lifetime member of the Brutus Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Carl Gay.
Naomi is survived by the following children: Michael David Gay and wife Eva of Berea, Carl Randall Gay and wife Kathy of London, William Thomas Gay and wife Debra of Bullskin, Kevin Alden Gay and wife Virginia of Bullskin and Mary Sue Teague and husband Bob of Marietta, GA.
She is also survived by three sisters: Sally Richardson, Ruby Wright and Margaret Arnett, 9 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, Naomi was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Heather Yvonne Gay, and by her brother and sister, William David Burns and Leta Sizemore.
Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, March 9th at Britton Funeral Home in Manchester, KY, with David Robinson, Brad Stevens and Charles Woods officiating. Burial will follow at the Davidson Burns Cemetery on Oneida.
Visitation will be held 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Saturday, March 9th at Britton Funeral Home in Manchester, KY.
