Mason Farrell, age 80 departed this life on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at the Baptist Health Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. He was born on Saturday, June 18, 1938 in Stinking Creek, Kentucky to Willie and Ellar Collett Farrell.
He worked for the United States Forest Service, an avid guitar player that had a great love for music and singing and was a woodworking craftsman extraordinaire.
He leaves to mourn his passing his son: Shane Farrell, his fur baby companion: Roxie, his sisters: Leta Heck of Michigan and Juanita Sharpe of Harrogate, Tennessee as well as other nieces, nephews, loved ones and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Willie and Ellar Farrell, his daughter: Carolyn Manning, Shane’s mother: Phyllis Jackson Farrell whom he loved until his death as well as these siblings: Irene Rice, Jim Farrell, Viola Farrell, Oscar Farrell, Lewis Farrell, Mary Collett and Flora Gerozomis.
A celebration of the life for Mason Farrell will be conducted on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at 2:00 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Tony Bowling will be presiding. Interment will follow in the Asher’s Fork Cemetery in the Asher’s Fork Community.
The family will receive friends and loved ones on Saturday after 12:00 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
