Mary Goins, 88, of Manchester, KY, passed away Wednesday, October 31st, at her home.
Mary was born in Manchester, KY on October 16, 1930, a daughter of the late Betty Mae (Allen) and Reubin Sams.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carlo Goins.
Mary is survived by three daughters: Jeweldine Hubbard, Brenda Hooker and Lois Austin and husband Paul, all of Manchester; by two sons: Carlo Goins, Jr. of Manchester and Timothy Goins and wife Samantha of London; and by her son-in-law, D.C. Edwards.
She is also survived by her sister, Christina Whitaker and husband Earl; her brother, Reubin Sams and wife Ruby; and by 14 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mary was preceded in death by her daughter, Carolyn Edwards; her daughter-in-law, Betty Goins; her two sons-in-law: Hubert Hubbard and Calvin Hooker; and the following brothers and sisters: Ruth Goins, George Douglas Sams, Richard Sams, Hansford Sams and Gertrude Wang.
Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, November 3rd at Britton Funeral Home in Manchester, KY, with Ronnie Smith officiating. Burial will follow at the Manchester Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held 6:00 PM on Friday, November 2nd at Britton Funeral Home in Manchester, KY.
