La Verne Garrard, 64, of Manchester, KY, passed away Saturday, August 4th, at his home.
Verne was born in Pittsburgh, PA on December 11, 1953, a son of Helen (Zirnzak) Garrard and the late George Elmer Garrard.
He is survived by his wife, Debbie (Bennett) Garrard; his mother, Helen Garrard of Texas; three daughters: Melanie Ann Garrard Malak, Heather Jenny Ver-Le, and Michele Garrard, all of Michigan; and two sons: Jeffery George Garrard of Michigan and Daniel Paul Garrard of North Carolina.
He is also survived by his sister, Penny Cedel, of Texas, and 10 grandchildren.
In addition to his father, Verne was preceded in death by his sister, Joann Cedel.
Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, August 10th at Britton Funeral Home in Manchester, KY. Burial will follow at the Moes Hollow Cemetery on Cool Springs Road.
Visitation will be held 12:00 PM on Friday, August 10th at Britton Funeral Home in Manchester, KY.
