OWENTON, KY (December 19, 2022) – The Kentucky State Police (KSP) Forensic Lab partnered with Othram Inc. using advanced DNA testing to establish an identity for a victim in an unsolved case. Recently, KSP positively identified a “Jane Doe” recovered along a roadside in rural Owen County from 1988 as Linda Bennett.

FRANKFORT, KY – On Tuesday, December 13, 2022, Auditor Mike Harmon's office released the first five agreed-upon procedures (AUPs) for select county attorney offices. The county attorneys for Boyle, Madison, Marshall, Meade, and Nelson are among 23 county attorney offices who volunteered to participate in a pilot program with the goal of making county attorney offices across the Commonwealth more accountable and transparent to taxpayers.
