Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Deputy Gary Mehler along with Deputy Travis Napier arrested Donald Shane Johnson age 28 of Slate Lick Rd., London on Monday night October 17, 2016 at approximately 6:40 PM.
The arrest occurred off Highway 1394, approximately 4 miles north of London after deputies received a complaint of a male subject in underwear hitting the doors of a medical clinic nearby.
When deputies arrived at the scene they located this subject nearby and noted that he was unable to stand, was very incoherent, and deputies noted the odor of alcoholic beverages emitting from this subject. Deputies determined that this subject was under the influence.
Donald Shane Johnson was charged with alcohol intoxication in a public place and was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
