London, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Capt. Chuck Johnson arrested two individuals on East 4th St. in London on Monday morning October 17, 2016 at approximately 7:50 AM.
Capt. Johnson observed a male subject on Ky 80 near Tobacco Rd. punch a female in the face in a vehicle driven by the male subject in an apparent rolling domestic violence situation.
A traffic stop was conducted and an investigation conducted where it was determined that the female subject had also struck the male subject in the face as witnessed by KSP Detective Brian Lewis.
The two individuals were arrested and are identified as:
Joshuah Smith 32 and Amanda Smith 31 both of London, and both charged with assault – fourth degree – domestic violence and both were lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
