Subject flees LSO Deputies dispatched to a trespassing complaint


Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Sgt. Larry Parrott along with Deputy Tommy Houston arrested Allison Asher age 38 of Riverside Loop, Lily early Thursday morning September 29, 2016 at approximately 1:59 AM.

The arrest occurred on Riverside Loop, approximately 6 miles south London after deputies were dispatched to a complaint that a female subject was intoxicated and was trespassing at a residence on Riverside Loop.

When deputies arrived at the scene they observed this subject backing out of a driveway in a black colored Dodge Dakota. When this subject saw deputies, she exited the pickup and took off running on foot and following a brief foot chase through several yards in the neighborhood, and following a brief struggle with deputies, this subject was taken into custody.

This subject was determined to be under the influence and admitted taking Xanax and Suboxone earlier. In addition, this subject had previously been trespassed from this residence.

Allison Asher was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence – first offense; no operator's license; resisting arrest; fleeing or evading police – second-degree – on foot; criminal trespassing third-degree; and numerous other traffic violations.

In addition, this subject was charged on a Laurel County bench warrant of arrest for failure to report to sign up for MCR regarding a charge of theft by unlawful taking.

This subject was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
