Whitley County, KY - A 21 year-old male subject that was being sought by police in connection with the disappearance of a 16 year-old female juvenile last seen on Tuesday July 26, 2016 and located deceased off Bee Creek Road in Whitley County on Friday July 29th 2016 is now behind bars.
Skyler Barnett age 21 of Corbin, KY was arrested and lodged in the Whitley County Detention Center after a warrant was issued charging Harboring a Runaway regarding the missing 16 year old.
Whitley County Detention Center records indicate that Skyler Barnett was arrested Friday July 29, 2016 and booked into the facility Saturday July 30 at 3:03 A.M.
He is currently being held on an Unlawful Transaction W/Minor 3rd Degree charge and 2 drug related charges.
The arresting officer is listed as Officer J. Fox of the Whitley County Sheriff's Department.
Two cash bonds have been set: A $2,500.00 bond & a $10,000.00 bond
