LSO deputies trying to locate a 5 year old child they believe could be in danger

Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Sgt. Larry Parrott has issued a missing persons report on a five-year-old child identified as Brayden Epperson age 5, described as: 3'5", 65 pounds, white male, blonde hair above the ear, blue eyes, medium complexion and medium build.

The child is in the company of his biological mother identified as Jamie Allen, age 31, who fled from deputies in a motor vehicle almost hitting Sgt. Parrott as she fled a residence off Sally's Branch Rd. approximately 4 miles east of London early Saturday morning July 30, 2016 at approximately 3 AM.

Deputies had been called to the residence to investigate a complaint that this subject was at a residence there without the homeowner's permission and they wanted her removed. The homeowner further advised there were outstanding warrants on this subject.

When Sgt. Parrott and Deputy Shawn Jackson arrived at the scene they made contact with a male subject there who stated that he did not know Jamie Allen and that she was not there.

It has been determined that the homeowner there identified as Dustin Morgan is the boyfriend of Jamie Allen.

While deputies were talking to the homeowner Dustin Morgan, Jamie Allen fled the scene at a high rate of speed in a 1999 Olds Alero almost hitting Sgt. Parrott as she fled. Her five-year-old child was in the vehicle with her.

Sgt. Parrott located the vehicle abandoned at approximately 5:30 A.M. near a residence near Pistol Creek Road on Ky. 472 approximately 8 miles east of London. The mother and child were not located.

Deputies believe the child could be in danger because the mother is believed to be under the influence of drugs possibly methamphetamine.

Anyone with any information on the location of this child or Jamie Allen is asked to contact Laurel County Sheriff's office at 606-864-6600 or 878-7000. Information will be strictly confidential.

The boyfriend identified as Dustin Morgan age 20 of Sally's Branch Rd., London was arrested and charged with hindering prosecution or apprehension – second-degree; resisting arrest; and disorderly conduct – second-degree and was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
