Corbin, Ky. – On Tuesday July 12th 2016 around 3 am Officer Jon Bledsoe from KSP Vehicle Enforcement responded to a single vehicle accident located on US25 E at the entrance of the Pilot truck stop in Laurel County, Kentucky.
Upon arrival and through investigation Officers found a 2007 International tractor trailer being operated by 42 year old Clementa V. McGriff of Cairo, Georgia was eastbound on US25 E when the tandem axles came off the trailer being pulled causing the load of Coors alcoholic beverages to spill onto the roadway.
One lane of travel was temporarily shut down for about an hour to allow clean-up crews clean the debris from the roadway. Drugs and alcohol are not suspected factors in the incident, and the driver was not injured in the crash.
