KSP Investigates Fatal Collision in Boyle County


DANVILLE, Ky. (June 27, 2016) — The Kentucky State Police, Richmond Post is investigating a fatal collision that happened west of Danville on Godbey Lane in Boyle County, just after 3:00 pm yesterday afternoon.

The initial investigation indicates that a 2010 GMC SUV, driven by Maria N. Ehud, 28 years old of Danville was traveling north on Godbey Lane and collided head-on with a 2007 Audi passenger car, operated by Walter T. Bremer, 54 years old of Danville.

Walter Bremer was fatally injured in the collision, and was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Boyle County Coroner. Three passengers in the Audi were transported to the hospital, including Jacqueline Bremer, 50 years old of Danville, who later died at UK Hospital as a result of her injuries.

Maria Ehud was transported to UK Hospital with significant injuries, and her three passengers were transported to Ephraim McDowell Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The ongoing investigation is being conducted by KSP Detective Jeff Stith. He was assisted at the scene by KSP Personnel, Boyle County Sheriff’s Office, Boyle County EMS, Boyle County Fire & Rescue, and the Boyle County Coroner.
