Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Deputy Craig Sutton charged Robert Mayne age 31 of Slate Lick Rd., London on Thursday morning June 9, 2016 at approximately 11:39 AM.
The arrest occurred after this individual was charged on a Laurel County warrant of arrest charging criminal mischief – first-degree and theft by unlawful taking – the victim alleges that he took his 1996 Chevrolet Blazer to this individual for him to put a new motor in it and that the next day this individual was arrested driving the vehicle.
When the victim got his vehicle back all his tools were gone, new battery and a fire radio valued at $1000 was gone. In addition, the victim's steering column was allegedly busted with damages totaling approximately $1000.
Robert Mayne remains lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
