Two Clay County residents facing charges in Laurel County

Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Sgt. Larry Parrott along with Deputy Shannon Jones and Deputy Brandon Broughton arrested Christie Hibbard age 30 of Popular Ln., Manchester early Tuesday morning June 7, 2016 at approximately 1:37 AM.

The arrest occurred near a business at the London Shopping Center in London after off-duty Deputy Brandon Broughton observed an apparent intoxicated subject at a business there.

When on-duty deputies Sgt. Larry Parrott and Deputy Shannon Jones arrived at the scene, they observed the subject in a gray colored Chevrolet Impala and conducted an investigation determining that the driver was under the influence – this subject stated the last drug she had taken was oxycodone.

Christie Hibbard was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence-1st offense. 2 other individuals were also arrested there that were allegedly involved in a disturbance in front of a business prior to the deputies arrival.

Arrested following an investigation were: Robert Isom age 29 of Ky 11 South, Manchester charged with disorderly conduct – second-degree and public intoxication – controlled substances. In addition, this subject was charged on an outstanding Clay County bench warrant of arrest for failure to appear in court on charges of driving on DUI suspended license – second offense and other traffic violations.

Also arrested was Courtney Michelle Minton age 30 of River Hill Rd., London charged with disorderly conduct – second-degree and public intoxication – controlled substances.

All 3 individuals were lodged in the Laurel County Detention Facility. London Police Officer Sgt. Jesses Williams assisted on the investigation and arrests at the scene.
