Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Deputy Kyle Gray arrested Harry Steven Mallott age 56 of London Ave., Corbin on Monday evening May 23, 2016 at approximately 7 PM.
The arrest occurred off the railroad tracks at North. Florence St., approximately 11 miles south of London after Deputy Gray was dispatched to a complaint of a body laying next to the railroad tracks.
When deputy Gray arrived at the scene relocated this subject sitting next to the tracks and following an investigation determined that the subject was under the influence of a controlled substance. The subject reported that he was homeless and wanted to go to jail.
Harry Steven Mallott was charged with public intoxication – controlled substances and criminal trespass – second-degree and was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
