(LONDON, KY.) – On Thursday, April 28, 2016, at approximately 12:50 PM, Kentucky State Police Detectives from Post 11, London arrested Steven J. Ingram, 36, of London, KY on charges related to possession and distribution of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor.
Ingram was arrested as the result of an undercover Internet Crimes against Children investigation. Detective Oliver began the investigation after discovering the suspect sharing images of child sexual exploitation online.
The investigation resulted in the execution of a search warrant at Ingram’s residence located on KY HWY 80, East Laurel Road on Thursday, April 28, 2016. Equipment used to facilitate the crime was seized and will be taken to KSP’s forensic laboratory for examination.
Ingram was arrested at his residence and lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center on the charges of Distribution of Matter Portraying Sexual Performance by a Minor, 1st Offense and Possession / View Matter Portraying Sexual Performance by a Minor.
Detective Oliver is continuing the investigation and was assisted by Detectives from Post 11.
