Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Lieut. Greg Poynter, along with Capt. Chuck Johnson, Deputy Brandon Broughton, and Deputy Kyle Gray arrested a male subject of Bellevue, Kentucky, on Tuesday afternoon, April 26, 2016, at approximately 3:04 PM.
Arrested was Steven Schneider, age 43. The arrest occurred on Broad Street in London behind the Laurel County Courthouse after this subject was observed staggering along a public street in town.
This subject had slurred speech and appeared confused almost falling down several times. He stated he had been taking diazepam. Deputies determined that this subject was under the influence.
