(LONDON, KY.) – Pre-Register for KSP Bass Tournament at Lake Cumberland Outdoors Pro Bass Shop on April 6th.
Anglers interested in participating in the 2016 Trooper Jason Vankook Memorial Bass Tournament can register in person on Wednesday, April 06, 2016 at the Lake Cumberland Outdoors Pro Bass Shop, located at 2234 HWY 90 in Bronston, KY. Kentucky State Police Trooper Lloyd Cochran will be at the store from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM to facilitate registration and answer any questions about the event.
The tournament will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at the Burnside Island State Park boat ramp. Entry fee is $100.00 per boat (two people per boat) with a five fish limit. Payout will be determined by number of entries. All proceeds go to support Trooper Island Camp.
Trooper Island is a free summer camp for underprivileged boys and girls age 10-12 operated by the Kentucky State Police on Dale Hollow Lake in Clinton County. It is financed entirely by donations. No public funds are used. Each year, the camp hosts approximately 700 children, providing good food, fresh air, recreation, guidance and structured, esteem-building activities designed to build good citizenship and positive relationships with law enforcement officers.
